Obedience Classes

3 Levels – You are required to past test to move up to next level

Every level is ran every Saturday
-
Every class is 45 minutes long – 15 minute break between classes
Level 1: 10:00am – 10:45am
Level 2: 11:00am – 11:45am
Level 3: 12:00am – 12:45am
Level 1:
Teaches:
* Climb * Sit
* Down * Walking on a loose leash
Test:
Sit, down, & climb without a corrections, take the dog from one end of the training building to the other on a loose leash.
Level 2:
Teaches:
* Climb-stays with distractions * Sit-stays with distractions
* Down-stays with distractions * Recalls
Test:
1minute sit-stay with distractions at end of leash, 2 minute down-stay with distractions at end of leash. All dogs must stay on climb while others are testing.
Level 3:
Teaches:
* On leash heeling * Halts
* About turns * Recalls
* Sit-stays dropping the leash * Down-stays dropping the leash
Test:
Instructor calls you through heeling pattern with a recall, 1 minute sit-stay across the room, 2 minute down stay across room. All dogs must stay on a climb while others are testing.
