Opened in Spring 2024, our Williamsburg facility expands Sorenson Kennels’ 70-year tradition of excellence into the western region of Missouri. Built intentionally to give clients further west greater access to our training programs, this property reflects our commitment to growth, innovation, and the highest standard of dog training.

Set on 30 acres of open fields, wooded land, and premium water access, Williamsburg was designed from the ground up with training in mind. The highlight of the property is our dedicated training lake, perfectly suited for advanced Retriever training. Its structure, depth, and layout allow our trainers to run realistic scenarios and high-level drills that aren’t possible on traditional land-based courses—making this location a premier destination for serious hunting and competition dogs.

While training is the primary focus of our Williamsburg facility, we also offer boarding by appointment for existing clients only, ensuring a quiet, controlled, and distraction-free environment for dogs in active programs. The space and layout of this property give our trainers the ability to work dogs more efficiently, more naturally, and with more variety—resulting in better outcomes and a richer training experience.
