The Sorenson Heritage
Sorenson Kennels began in 1954, founded by the late Tom Sorenson, a pioneer in the dog-training world whose passion and skill shaped generations of trainers and champion dogs. Over his career, Tom developed more than fifty field trial champions, earned the title of National Field Trial Champion, and was inducted into the National Retriever Hall of Fame. He also received the AKC Lifetime Achievement Award in Performance, one of the highest honors in the industry.
Tom built Sorenson Kennels on a simple philosophy: train with excellence, care deeply, and always put the dog first. Tom is deeply missed today by his customers, family, and his many friends. His legacy continues to guide everything we do today.
